Ambuja Jaipur Marathon 2012 ties up with Rajasthan Royals
The Jaipur Marathon is organised by Sanskriti Yuva Sanstha, a social organization in Rajasthan which executes various social activities, and World Trade Park (WTP), which primarily underlines the concept of international trade and business activities by providing its occupants with various services and features. Scheduled to be held on Jan. 22 at Ram Nivas Bagh South Gate, the Ambuja Jaipur Marathon 2012 will be executed by Sincere Global Event Pvt. Ltd., which is the Jaipur Marahon's internal activation agency.
Commenting on the property, Saurabh Sharma, COO, Jaipur Marathon said: "This is the third edition of the property wherein we will not only showcase the culture of Rajasthan but also the Indian culture. We have also organised an expo, wherein all participants will come in for registration on Jan. 18, 19 and 20; and Jaipur Rock, which will promote the initiative in colleges. Compared to last year, where we saw participation from 35,000 people, this year, we expect around 45,000 people."
Rajasthan Royals has announced its tie up with the marathon as the fitness partner. The Royals, through its digital platforms and sponsor networks, will encourage and enable 500 fans to run the marathon and support the worldwide movement for health and fitness. The fans will run wearing Rajasthan Royals T-shirts, and the best among them will be rewarded with IPL tickets and merchandise.

India to host IFFTI 2012 conference
Come March 2012, India will see celebrated designers, style gurus and fashion educators from across the globe converge in the vibrant city of Jaipur, Rajasthan under the auspicies of the 14th Annual Conference of International Foundation of Fashion Technology Institutes (IFFTI.
IFFTI which is a leading international forum for the fashion industry that has metamorphised into a significant gathering of industry shapers, begins on March 17, 2012. Pearl Academy of Fashion is proud host of the five day event in India.
The theme of the IFFTI 2012 conference is ‘Fashion Beyond Borders’ and addresses issues such as multicultural identities, virtual connections, commercial opportunities and educational responses amongst others. The conference is scheduled to include prominent names from the fashion sector including Yohji Yamamoto, Romeo Gigli, Simon Lock, Jeffry Aronsson, Rajeev Sethi, Manish Arora, Ram, Sareen, Christopher Sanderson –drawn from all corners of the world to share their thoughts and vision on the business of fashion. Think tanks in Design, Technology and Business of fashion from 40 member institutions of IFFTI representing 19 countries, along with large enterprises and institutes from India, will converge to discuss issues and opportunities pertaining to the vibrant and rapidly evolving sector.
